We managed to get a lot accomplished at our meetings in January. Below is a summary of what we accomplished.

On 1/15 we had Brian open and close the meeting. We began preparing for the 2008 Klondike Derby. We decided that summercamp will be at Ockanickon Scout Reservation beginning July 20th til July 26th. Our skill lesson, which was Fire Building, was instructed by Brian & James. The troop also participated in a game known as sharks & minnos.

On 1/22 we had Nick, the SPL open and close the meeting. We continued discussing Klondike Derby and we also filled out the registration forms fro the 2008 Merit Badge Fair. The skills lesson was Ropework & Knots with Nick and "Pop". The troop also participated in the game, Blind Man's Fury.

On 1/29, we had Andrew open and close the meeting. "Pop" announced that there will be a Proclamation given to the Boy Scouts on Feb. 14th at the Ocean Township Committee meeting. We were also told that Bill Freeland will be at the meeting on either 2/12 or 2/19 for the "Friends of Scouting". We discussed pre-requisits for the 2008 Merit Badge fair being held on 2/23 and continued preparing for Klondike. We prepared the sleds, discussed needed materials, decided on sled teams, and had Robert Bug. and Noah teach Pioneering as the skills lesson. Due to the amount of time it took to prepare for the Klondike, we were unable to participate in a game this week.
